    Fashion Trends & Designs

    What to wear

  • The style of gowns varies from year to year. Looking in magazines can give you an idea of what is popular. You can go to a dressmaker to have one custom made-having a dress custom made gives you limitless design options. As designers and image consultants, we work with you closely on your design, be it from an idea in your head, a drawing - or several for that matter - or pictures highlighting several components of an outfit. We analyze your body type and shape and steer you towards the most flattering fit for your body type. We can do a color analysis that will determine your most flattering colors. Of course, you will have the final word on exactly what it is that you require. Most girls spend around $250-$400 for a dress.

  • Start early so that you can calmly design your gown; pick your colors, fabrics, designs details, etc.

  • Begin looking when you are not pressured to buy what's left.

    Prom Basics

  • Develop a budget and try to stay within it.
  • Start saving for your prom.
  • Consider your accessories-stay away from big earrings.
  • Boutonniere-it is customary for a girl to buy a boutonniere for her date. Normally it will either be a carnation or rose with baby's breath. It should be placed on the left lapel.
  • Limousines-Prom special from $50.00/hr for an eight-hour minimum. This cost can be shared-so plan to enjoy your prom in a group.
